Rating the Food Trisha Paytas Eats in Her 2017 “Christmas Morning Breakfast Eating Show!”
I start getting excited about Christmas in October!
Just kidding! I chose this video because I enjoy its breakfast theme and it seemed fun to watch. The scores of each dish are determined by three criteria: if Trisha eats it, how she eats it, and if I like it. For some meals, I feel that it’s unfair to give a rating based on the lack of information about the dish. As you’ll read below, there’s a conflict with maple syrup.
1Bacon: This looks so crispy. I’d usually be a little suspicious about ordering bacon for takeout, but this doesn’t look soggy at all. Love to hear the crunch.
Score: 10/10
2Sausage: Trisha didn’t eat her sausages. In fact, she gagged when she saw them. But I think sausages are delicious! I respect the fact she might not eat pork, though. My friend’s mom doesn’t because she used to have a pet pig called Bacon. #BaconHadAMom
Score: N/A
3Over-Easy Eggs with Hashbrowns: YUM. The eggs look perfectly cooked. My initial thought when she opened this container is that I’d be disappointed if she didn’t eat the hash browns with ketchup. She didn’t. Unsatisfied.
Score: 5/10
4Scrambled egg whites: Compared to over-easy eggs, yikes. I wish they had some seasoning or something. She takes bites of it with bacon though, so that adds two points.
Score: 5/10
5A Muffin: YUM. But Trisha doesn’t know its flavor; She suspects its banana nut. Look’s pretty good. I love all muffins!
Score: 7/10
6Pancakes: Wow. They are stacked and look like the perfect thickness. I’m a maple syrup snob, so I hope it’s 100% natural. Unfortunately, since I don’t know the integrity of this syrup I can’t give the pancakes a score.
Score: N/A
7French Toast: This dish looks really dense and delicious, but again, I don’t know If this is 100% maple syrup. Therefore, it cannot receive a rating.
Score: N/A
Overall, this looks like a pretty good Christmas breakfast to me! With some simple fixes, like eating the hashbrowns and sausages with ketchup (with no high fructose corn syrup) and the pancakes and french toast with 100% maple syrup, this meal would be a solid 10 out of 10, minus the eggwhites.
Go Trisha!
