My Five Favorite Mukbang Food
1.Sushi. Nigiri and sashimi are my ultimate favorite. Sake (salmon), Ika (squid), Amaebi (sweet shrimp), and Ikura (salmon roe) have a special place in my heart, but I love them all! Good sushi has a perfect balance between its texture and taste. SAS-ASMR on YouTube seems to always be eating quality sushi in her videos. She eats a lot of salmon sashimi.
2. Boba tea. This is super fun to drink! There is such a wide variety of boba tea and tapioca pearl flavors, that its possible combinations are endless. My favorite is Chai milk tea with original tapioca pearls, but I also love matcha. Most mukbangers drink this out of an enormous bowl. Check out Stephanie Soo’s entertaining video.
3. Cheesy Korean corndogs. I have never tried this before, but I really want to. I first saw them on Veronica Wang’s channel. The exterior is coated with sugar and it looks so crunchy and crispy. The interior looks so soft and cheesy and you get the perfect, neverending cheese pull.
4. Crepe cakes. I literally order crepe cakes to be domestically shipped to my house. They are that good. These come in a variety of flavors too. My favorites are rainbow and matcha, but the original flavor is delicious too. My favorite thing about crepe cakes is their texture. It’s a soft, layered bite that you eat cold. N.E Let’s Eat, SAS’s sister, has some aesthetically pleasing crepe cake mukbang videos.
5. Jjajangmyeon. Korean black bean noodles. These are delicious! The first time I tried them was when I was craving them while I was in the hospital and, luckily, there’s a Korean restaurant nearby. I’ve also ordered them on Amazon, but trust me when I say that freshly made Jjajangmyeon is So. Much. Better. They taste like nothing you have ever tried before! Any mukbanger has a Jjjajangmyeon video, but Fume’s videos always hit the mark.
